What do I wear on Sunday?

Antioch does not enforce a dress code of any kind except we encourage our people to wear what is comfortable, clean and modest. The members are aware how a person doesn’t want to stand out in a group of people by under dressing or over dressing. The picture below can give you an idea of how members dress. We do desire for you to feel comfortable as you Worship our Lord. Come be our guest and allow us to give you an Antioch welcome.

Where will I go after I arrive at Church?

I have visited many Churches and didn't really know what doors to enter. Well at Antioch you will not have that problem. You just enter through the double glass doors in front of the church. You will see them as you drive on the parking lot. After you enter the doors and go up the stairs there is always someone there to help you.

It's sad to say but security seems to be necessary even in Churches today. Because of this reason people are always watching the Church and the grounds;. Feeling safe at Church is very important to us. So if you feel people are starring at you, you're right. This should make you feel safer not awakward because they are making our Church safer by standing guard.

What kind of Church is Antioch?

Antioch would be described as a traditional Rural Church for several reasons. We still fellowship in the Sanctuary before the morning service begins. We still use hymn books. We still have a choir made up of volunteers present Sunday Morning, the Music Director calls for people from the congregation to come fill the Choir, members or non-members alike. We still have an encouraging sermon preached and at the conclusion of the sermon a special invitation is given for members and guest to come pray and make your requests know to The Lord at the altar.

Come and be our guest and experience the presence of Jesus in our mist. A War Room (Prayer Room) is designated for prayers during non-church times. Maybe you can find a "Prayer Partner" and together win many victories by using our War Room.

What Does Antioch Believe?

This question is a very difficult question to answer because every Christian Denomination uses the same book, "The Bible." So why so many different Denominations if they use the same book? Not every Christian Denomination base their beliefs from The Bible. Some use what their Denomination has always used and it is called "Tradition." Some emphasize one thing in the Bible over another such as the type of music or the type of preaching or the day the congregation meets may determine what a Church believes. Antioch uses the Bible as their only source for how a Christian meets and develops a spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ and His Heavenly Father.

What Is Antioch's Main Focus?

I would say our main focus is "the spiritual care of our members" and our second focus is "caring for others outside our Church."

This Christian attitude is the foundational attitude for success in the Christian's life. I believe Chuck Swindol said it well. Attitude becomes your driving force in your faith.

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company, a church, a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past; we cannot change the fact people act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, that is our attitude. I am convinced life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you ….. we are in charge of our ATTITUDE.
